On June 20, 2003, Mieka Pauley's management gave permission for shows to be hosted at the Archive:
Greetings: We are the two principals in the music management
company 9 Music. On behalf of the artist Mieka Pauley, an artist signed
to 9 Music, we are granting you permission to archive the recordings of
the live musical performances of Mieka Pauley at The Archive. It is
understood and agreed that these recordings of live shows are solely
for public download and noncommercial, royalty-free circulation.
Please also feel free to put relevant quotes in your Band Information
section, along with a link to Mieka's official website:
http://www.mieka.com. Please also let us know what other information
we can provide for you. Mieka is one of the fastest rising young artists
in the Northeast. Much further current info on Mieka and her music is
available on her web site. Mieka's taping policy follows...
Thank you,

Mieka's Taping Policy
Mieka definitely encourages audio taping and trading of her live
performances. It's a very cool thing to spread the word by recreating the
live experience, and by doing so, meet and talk to other fans out there.
Here's the thing though: Any form of trading that doesn't involve
personal fan interaction defeats the whole spirit of the taping policy and
is not authorized.
In other words, please respect that recordings can only be used for
personal use and trading. Selling these recordings is not only not
legal, but ruins the fun for everyone by jeopardizing these taping
privileges. Please also remember that not everyone is into taping, and
that if Mieka is opening or playing with other artists or venues that don't
allow taping, the taping policy of those artists or venues should be
respected and followed.
Also, be sure you have all the equipment you need as we can't supply
recording gear or electricity and - soundboard feeds are not
guaranteed but will be provided if available by venues.
And, last but not least, we really appreciate all of you and your interest
and are glad you want to tape and spread the word. So, if you would,
we just ask that you please be considerate of those around you by not
obstructing anyone else's view or enjoyment of the performance and
keeping in mind the crew and show-goers around you. No one likes an
ugly old microphone or stand in the way. Thanks, we much appreciate
it!
